Ellis-Fermor & Negus assist with the opening of The Leaf and Loaf in Codnor

Sam and Sharon Davison, a couple from Codnor, are pleased to announce the opening of The Leaf and Loaf at 12a Market Place, Codnor.  The shop, which was formerly known as the Filtree Catering and Sandwich Bar, had been left vacant for five months by its previous owners.  It will now sell a range of food items to take away, including breakfast food, filled rolls, jacket potatoes, pastas, homemade quiches and cakes.  It will also provides delivery services and catering for events.

Jonathan Ho, commercial solicitor from Ellis-Fermor & Negus, assisted the couple with securing a new lease and purchasing the business from the previous owners.  Sharon, who is experienced in providing catering and who is in charge of the day-to-day running of the shop, commented:

“The opening of The Leaf and Loaf is the fulfillment of a dream.  There were a number of hurdles to overcome, but I was really pleased with the advice and support which Jonathan provided.”
