Saying Goodbye to our 2024/25 Charity of the Year: Forever Stars

As the financial year comes to an end, so too does our term with our current Charity of the Year.

Ellis-Fermor & Negus have been proud to work alongside Forever Stars, a baby and infant loss charity set up by Richard and Michelle following the death of their daughter, Emily over ten years ago. The charity’s main campaign for the past year, ‘1 in 4 in 2024’, has been to raise £50,000 to refurbish the A23 ward at Queens Medical Centre which they exceeded well before the year was up. Their campaign for 2025/26 is, ‘Talking Through Tears’, which will raise funds to provide specialist play therapy for children impacted by baby loss.

EFN has raised funds via bake off challenges, collection tins in all reception areas and a Tough Mudder challenge completed by solicitor, Daniel Brocklehurst. Forever Stars host quarterly “Beyond Business” events where professionals can network, usually with breakfast thrown in, and receive updates about the charity which we have greatly enjoyed attending.

Forever Stars’ Chair and Co-Founder, Richard comments, “It has been an absolute pleasure to work with the Ellis-Fermor & Negus team this past year. Aside from their fabulous fundraising, it has felt like a great relationship between our two organisations, where Joanna and the team have taken a real interest in the work that we do. They really got behind our Supporting 1 in 4 in 2024 campaign and helped us achieve our £50,000 target well within the time frame we set. It was a real honour to be their chosen charity and we wish the next cause they support this coming year all the best.”

Ellis-Fermor & Negus are pleased to have been able to support Forever Stars during this past year and we wish them every success with their future endeavours and we have no doubt that the charity and their message will go from strength to strength over the coming years.
