Team members and their families from Ripley solicitors Ellis-Fermor & Negus joined an organised five-mile walk led by The Friends of the Cromford Canal on Sunday 10th April. Ellis-Fermor & Negus are sponsoring The Friends of the Cromford Canal as their Charity of the Year 2011.
The walk along the Cromford Canal was organised by the charity to demonstrate to the attendees the work that has been completed to date along the canal, and spots of interest for future dredging, and clear canal side foliage.
The walk commenced from the Derwent Hotel at Whatstandwell, headed south towards Ambergate for two miles where it then wandered through woods to Crich Chase, before heading back into Whatstandwell for a 12.30 finish.
