About Susan
Susan qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in 1995. She joined Ellis-Fermor and Negus in 2024 and splits her time between the Beeston and Ripley offices.
Sue specialises in family law to include –
- Divorce
- Financial settlements on divorce
- Children law applications
- Cohabitation agreements
- Separation agreements
- Pre-nuptial agreements
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading and travel.

About Rebecca
Rebecca grew up in Long Eaton and started her career at Ellis-Fermor & Negus in 2002 as an office junior. Rebecca has worked in the legal industry for over 20 years and qualified in 2015. She re-joined the Long Eaton office in April 2024 as a Chartered Legal Executive in the Wills and Probate Department.
Rebecca takes pride in her professional yet friendly approach and enjoys building relationships with clients and their families. Rebecca can assist clients of all ages with:
- Preparation of Wills
- Asset Preservation
- Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection
- Administration of estates
She is a member of the Association of Lifetime Lawyers (formerly Solicitors for the Elderly), supporting vulnerable and older people with legal advice and is also a trained Dementia Friend.
Outside of work, Rebecca is a season ticket holder at her local football club and also enjoys weekends away and holidays with her Husband.
