Ellis-Fermor & Negus are very happy to welcome Deputy Head of Commercial Property, Luke Tattersall-Smith, to the team. Luke will be working out of the Beeston office for a number of weeks before moving to our brand new office situated in West Bridgford.

Luke is a Solicitor and Deputy Head of our Commercial Property Department with over 13 years’ experience in Real Estate. Since qualifying in 2017, Luke has worked for a variety of law firms at both local and national level, helping thousands of businesses, developers, charities and individuals with their commercial property needs.

Luke’s areas of specialism include landlord and tenant matters, sales and purchases, acquisition and disposal of farms, bare land and estates, lease grants and renewals, licenses to assign and sublets, strategic land and planning contracts, and commercial financing of land and assets. Luke particularly enjoys working with farming clients and providing practical solutions and support to farmers looking to utilise their estate for a variety of farm diversification projects, such as renewable energy developments including solar farm and battery leases.

Luke prides himself on providing clear and practical advice with an awareness of the client’s business, sector, and economic needs being at the core of his advice. He has an eye for detail and can see the bigger picture regarding the commerciality of a transaction.
